There are two separate services that you’ll need for a functioning site - a domain name plus a hosting plan for it. Any time you type the domain name in your browser, you see the content that’s uploaded inside the hosting account, but if that domain isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. In other words, the domain is registered and you're its owner, but it doesn't have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it can be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain address is that you can keep it and make certain that no one else will take it. Meanwhile, it will not take a slot for a hosted domain name inside your account. You may also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domain addresses as you like with each of the cloud hosting packages that we provide. Naturally, this feature is available only for domain names registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to the majority of service providers, we do not charge anything more for parking a domain name and the process takes only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We have a few parking templates to pick from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain address in the future, adding it to your account requires just a click. Everything necessary for your website to start showing up, like setting up a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to see a full list of the domain addresses that you've registered using our company and you will be able to set a filter to view only the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we provide you will have the ability to park as many domain addresses that are registered with our company as you want. Given that only the registrar company can provide a parking option, you can't park domains which are only hosted on our state-of-the-art cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel you can park and un-park domains with just a few mouse clicks and filter all domains that you have by their status, for simpler management. We offer a number of templates you can use and if you want to, you could also include some custom text to any of them. If you want to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you will not need to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder inside the File Manager section and will create all the necessary DNS records so that your domain address works properly and starts loading the content you upload for it on our servers.
